The Qur'an

While you were   dead   then He gave you life;   then  He will cause you to die,   then   He will give you life,  

then He gave you life;   then   He will cause you to die,   then  He will give you life,   then   to Him  

He will cause you to die,   then   He will give you life,   then  to Him   you will be returned.  

(is) in   the earth,   all.   Moreover  He turned   to   the heaven  

Adam   the names -   all of them.   Then  He displayed them   to   the angels,  

(for) Musa   forty   nights.   Then  you took   the calf   from  

Then  We forgave   you   from  

Then  We revived you   from   after  

Then  you turned away   from   after  

Then  hardened   your hearts   from  

(who used to) hear   (the) words   (of) Allah,   then  they distort it   from   after  

write   the book   with their (own) hands   then,  they say,   "This   (is)  

the prayer   and give   the zakah."   Then  you turned away,   except   a few  

yourselves   from   your homes,"   then  you ratified   while you   (were) witnessing.  

Then  you   (are) those   (who) kill  

came to you   Musa   with [the] clear signs,   then  you took   the calf   from  

disbelieved,   [then] I will grant him enjoyment   a little;   then  I will force him   to   (the) punishment  

[the] black   of   [the] dawn.   Then  complete   the fast   till  

Then  depart   from   wherever  

to them   Allah,   "Die;"   then  He restored them to life.   Indeed,   Allah  

(by) Allah   (for) a hundred   year(s),   then  He raised him.   He said,   "How long  

the bones   how   We raise them,   then  We cover them   (with) flesh."   Then when  

the birds   and incline them   towards you,   then  put   on   each  

hill   of them   a portion;   then  call them,   they will come to you   (in) haste.  

in   (the) way   (of) Allah   then  not   they follow   what  

[in it]   to   Allah.   Then  (will be) repaid in full   every   soul  

(of) Allah   that (it should) arbitrate   between them,   then  turns away   a party   of them  

on   (the) Day   (of) [the] Resurrection.   Then  to Me   (is) your return   and I will judge  

He created him   from   dust   then  He said   to him,   "Be,"  

and your women,   and ourselves   and yourselves,   then  let us pray humbly,   and [we] invoke   the curse  

the Book,   and the wisdom,   and the Prophethood,   then  he says   to the people,   "Be  

of   (the) Book   and wisdom   then  comes to you   a Messenger   confirming  

disbelieved   after   their belief   then  they increased   (in) disbelief   never  

they fight you,   they will turn (towards) you   the backs,   then  not   they will be helped.  

(are some) who   desire   the Hereafter.   Then  He diverted you   from them   so that He may test you.  

Then  He sent down   upon you   from  

he had defrauded   (on the) Day   (of) Resurrection.   Then  is repaid in full   every   soul  

An enjoyment   little,   then  their abode   (is) hell -   [and] a wretched  

do   the evil   in ignorance,   then  they repent   from   soon after.  

for what   sent forth   their hands   then  they come to you   swearing   by Allah,  

about what   arises   between them,   then  not   they find   in  

to   Allah   and His Messenger,   then  overtakes him   [the] death,   then certainly  

or   wrongs   his soul   then  seeks forgiveness   (of) Allah   he will find  

a fault   or   a sin   then  throws   it   (on) an innocent,  

Indeed,   those who   believed,   then  disbelieved,   then   (again) believed,  

believed,   then   disbelieved,   then  (again) believed,   then   disbelieved,  

disbelieved,   then   (again) believed,   then  disbelieved,   then   increased  

(again) believed,   then   disbelieved,   then  increased   (in) disbelief -   not  

so struck them   the thunderbolt   for their wrongdoing.   Then  they took   the calf (for worship)   from  

came to them   Our Messengers   with clear Signs   yet,  indeed,   many   of them  

in it   (is the) Command   (of) Allah?   Then  they turn away   from   after  

a trial,   so they became blind   and they became deaf.   Then  turned   Allah   to them,  

turned   Allah   to them,   then (again)  they became blind   and they became deaf,   many  

We make clear   to them   the Signs,   then  see   how   they are deluded.  

and they believe   and they do   [the] good deeds   then  they fear (Allah)   and believe,   then  

then   they fear (Allah)   and believe,   then  they fear (Allah)   and do good,   and Allah  

a people   from   before you,   then  they became   thereby   disbelievers.  

and made   the darkness[es]   and the light.   Then  those who   disbelieved   in their Lord  

created you   from   clay   then  He decreed   a term -   and a term  

and a term   specified   with Him,   yet  you   doubt.  

an Angel,   surely (would) have been decided   the matter   then  no   respite would have been granted to them.  

"Travel   in   the earth   and  see   how   was  

And (the) Day   We will gather them   all,   then  We will say   to those who   associated others with Allah,  

Then  not   will be   (for) them a plea  

But the dead -   will resurrect them   Allah   then  to Him   they will be returned.  

the Book   [of]   anything,   then  to   their Lord   they will be gathered.  

how   We explain   the Signs;   yet  they   turn away."  

among you   evil   in ignorance   then  repents   from   after it  

what   you committed   by the day.   Then  He raises you up   therein,   so that is fulfilled  

so that is fulfilled   (the) term   specified.   Then  to Him   will be your return   then  

Then   to Him   will be your return   then  He will inform you   about what   you used to  

Then  they are returned   to   Allah  

and from   every   distress,   yet  you   associate partners (with Allah)."  

your forefathers."   Say,   "Allah (revealed it)."   Then  leave them   in   their discourse -  

to every   community   their deed.   Then  to   their Lord   (is) their return,  

Moreover  We gave   Musa   the Book,  

their affair   (is) with   Allah,   then  He will inform them   of what   they used to  

any bearer of burden,   burden   (of) another.   Then  to   your Lord   (is) your return  

And certainly   We created you   then  We fashioned you.   Then   We said  

We created you   then   We fashioned you.   Then  We said   to the Angels,   "Prostrate  

Then  surely, I will come to them   from   before  

in   six   epochs,   then  He ascended   on   the Throne.  

Then  We changed   (in) place   (of) the bad  

Then  We sent   from   after them  

and your feet   of   opposite (sides).   Then  I will surely crucify you   all."  

And those who   do   the evil deeds   then  repented   from   after that  

Say,   "Call   your partners,   then  scheme against me   and (do) not   give me respite."  

they plunge them   in   the error,   then  not   they cease.  

(the) way   (of) Allah.   So they will spend it,   then  it will be   for them   a regret,  

it will be   for them   a regret,   then  they will be overcome.   And those who   disbelieve,  

Those who -   you made a covenant   with them   then  they break   their covenant   [in]  

you have a covenant   among   the polytheists,   then  not   they have failed you   (in any) thing  

he hears   (the) Words of Allah.   (the) Words of Allah.   Then  escort him   (to) his place of safety.   That  

the earth   (in spite) of its vastness,   (in spite) of its vastness,   then  you turned back,   fleeing.  

Then  Allah sent down   Allah sent down   His tranquility  

Then  Allah accepts repentance   Allah accepts repentance   after  

and Allah will see   your deeds,   and His Messenger.   Then  you will be brought back   to,   (the) Knower  

[We] know them.   We will punish them   twice   then  they will be returned   to   a punishment  

(the) hearts   (of) a party   of them,   then  He turned (in mercy)   to them.   Indeed, He  

Allah   except   to Him.   Then  He turned (in mercy)   to them   that they may repent.  

once   or   twice?   Yet  not   they turn (in repentance),   and not  

see you   any   one?"   Then  they turn away.   Allah has turned away   Allah has turned away  

in   six   periods,   then  He established   on   the Throne,  

Indeed, He   originates   the creation,   then  He repeats it,   that He may reward   those who  

Then  We made you   successors   in  

(the) enjoyment   (of) the life   (of) the world.   Then  to Us   (is) your return   and We will inform you  

And (the) Day   We will gather them   all together,   then  We will say   to those who   associate partners (with Allah),  

(any) who   originates   the creation   then  repeats it?"   Say,   "Allah  

"Allah   originates   the creation   then  repeats it.   So how   you are deluded?"  

We cause you to die,   then to Us   (is) their return,   then  Allah   (is) a Witness   over  

Is (it) then  when   when   (it had) occurred  

Then  it will be said   to those who   wronged,  

An enjoyment   in   the world,   then  to Us   (is) their return,   then  

then   to Us   (is) their return,   then  We will make them taste   the punishment   the severe  

So you all resolve   your plan   and your partners.   Then  let not be   let not be   (in) your plan  

(in) your plan   for you   any doubt.   Then  carry (it out)   upon me   and (do) not  

Then  We sent   after him   after him  

Then  We sent   after them   after them  

Then  We will save   Our Messengers   and those who  

(This is) a Book   are perfected   its Verses   moreover,  explained in detail   from (he One Who)   from (he One Who)  

And that   "Seek forgiveness   (of) your Lord   and  turn in repentance   to Him,   He will let you  

We give man a taste   (of) Mercy from Us,   (of) Mercy from Us,   then  We withdraw it   from him,   indeed, he  

with you.   But (to other) nations   We will grant enjoyment;   then  will touch them   from Us   a punishment  

And O my people!   Ask forgiveness   (of) your Lord,   then  turn in repentance   to Him.   He will send  

Other than Him.   So plot against me   all together,   then  (do) not   give me respite.  

and settled you   in it.   So ask forgiveness of Him,   then  turn in repentance   to Him.   Indeed,  

And ask forgiveness   (of) your Lord,   then  turn in repentance   to Him.   Indeed,  

besides Allah   any   protectors;   then  not   you will be helped.  

Then  (it) appeared   to them   after  

Then  will come   after   after  

Then  will come   after   after  

in   the bag   (of) his brother.   Then  called out   an announcer   "O you  

before   (the) bag   (of) his brother;   then  he brought it out   from   (the) bag  

without   pillars   that you see,   then  He established   on   the Throne  

but I granted respite   to those who   disbelieved;   then  I seized them,   and how   was  

Then  (on) the Day   (of) the Resurrection,   He will disgrace them  

favor   (is) from   Allah.   Then  when   touches you   the adversity  

Then  when   He removes   the adversity  

Then  eat   from   all  

And Allah   created you,   then  will cause you to die.   And among you   (is one) who  

They recognize   (the) Favor   (of) Allah;   then  they deny it.   And most of them   (are) the disbelievers.  

every   nation   a witness,   then  not   will be permitted   to those who  

Then  indeed,   your Lord,   to those who  

after   what   they had been put to trials   then  strove hard   and were patient.   Indeed,  

Then  indeed,   your Lord,   to those who  

did   evil   in ignorance,   then  repented   after   after  

Then  We revealed   to you,   that,  

Then  We gave back   to you   the return victory  

We will   to whom   We intend.   Then  We have made   for him   Hell,  

send   against you   a storm of stones?   Then  not   you will find   for you  

and drown you   because   you disbelieved?   Then  not   you will find   for you  

(in) the life,   and double   (after) the death.   Then  not   you (would) have found   for you  

that which   We have revealed   to you.   Then  not   you would find   for you  

Then  We raised them up   that We make evident   which  

created you   from   dust   then  from   a minute quantity of semen.   then  

then   from   a minute quantity of semen.   then  fashioned you   (into) a man?  

wrongs,   then soon   we will punish him.   Then  he will be returned   to   his Lord,  

Then  he followed   (a) course  

Then  he followed   a course  

So by your Lord,   surely, We will gather them   and the devils,   then  surely, We will bring them   around   Hell  

Then  surely, We will drag out   from   every  

Then  surely, We   know best   [of] those who  

Then  We will deliver   those who   feared (Allah),  

with   (the) people   (of) Madyan.   Then  you came   at   the decreed (time)  

(to) every   thing   its form,   then  He guided (it)."  

Firaun   and put together   his plan,   then  came.  

So put together   your plan   then  come   (in) a line.   And verily,  

and believes   and does   righteous (deeds)   then  remains guided.  

to it   devoted.   Surely we will burn it   then  certainly we will scatter it   in   the sea  

Then  chose him   his Lord,   and turned  

Then  We fulfilled (for) them   the promise,   and We saved them  

Then  they were turned   on   their heads,  

We created you   from   dust,   then  from   a semen-drop   then  

then   from   a semen-drop   then  from   a clinging substance   then  

then   from   a clinging substance   then  from   an embryonic lump,   formed  

for   a term   appointed,   then  We bring you out   (as) a child,   [then]  

then   We bring you out   (as) a child,   [then]  that you may reach   [your] maturity.   And among you  

a rope   to   the sky,   then  let him cut off,   then let him see   whether  

Then  let them end   their prescribed duties   and fulfil  

for   a term   appointed;   then  their place of sacrifice   (is) at   the House  

And Musa was denied,   so I granted respite   to the disbelievers,   then  I seized them,   and how   was  

to it,   while it   (was) doing wrong.   Then  I seized it   and to Me   (is) the destination.  

what   throws   the Shaitaan,   then  Allah will establish   Allah will establish   His Verses.  

in   (the) way   (of) Allah   then  were killed   or   died,  

(of) that   he was made to suffer   by it,   then  he was oppressed   [on him],   Allah will surely help him.  

And He   (is) the One Who   gave you life   then  He will cause you to die   then   He will give you life (again).  

gave you life   then   He will cause you to die   then  He will give you life (again).   Indeed,   man  

Then  We placed him   (as) a semen-drop   in  

Then  We created   the semen-drop   (into) a clinging substance,  

then We clothed   the bones   (with) flesh;   then  We produce it   (as) a creation   another.  

Then  indeed, you   after   that  

Then  indeed, you   (on the) Day   (of) the Resurrection,  

Then  We produced   after them   after them  

Then  We produced   after them   after them  

Then  We sent   Our Messengers   (in) succession.  

Then  We sent   Musa   and his brother  

And those who   accuse   the chaste women,   then  not   they bring   four  

Allah   drives   clouds   then  joins   between them   then  

then   joins   between them   then  makes them   (into) a mass,   then you see  

in Allah   and in the Messenger   and we obey."   Then  turns away   a party   of them  

He willed,   surely He (could) have made it   stationary.   Then  We made   the sun   for it  

Then  We withdraw it   to Us,   a withdrawal  

in   six   periods,   then  He established Himself   over   the Throne -  

Then  We drowned   the others.  

And the One Who   will cause me to die   then  he will give me life,  

Then  We drowned   thereafter   the remaining ones.  

Then  We destroyed   the others.  

Then  comes to them   what   they were  

Except   who   wrongs   then  substitutes   good   after  

this,   and deliver it   to them.   Then  turn away   from them   and see  

by Allah   surely, we will attack him by night,   and his family.   Then  we will surely say   to his heir,   "Not  

Or Who   originates   the creation   then  repeats it   and Who   provides you  

So he watered   for them.   Then  he turned back   to   the shade  

enjoyment   (of the) life   (of) the world   then  he   (on the) Day   (of) the Resurrection  

Allah originates   Allah originates   the creation   then  repeats it?   Indeed,   that  

how   He originated   the creation,   Then  Allah   will produce   the creation  

in   the life   (of) the world.   Then  (on the) Day   (of) the Resurrection   you will deny  

soul   (will) taste   the death.   Then  to Us   you will be returned.  

Then  was   (the) end   (of) those who  

Allah   originates   the creation,   then  He repeats it,   then   to Him  

the creation,   then   He repeats it,   then  to Him   you will be returned.  

He created you   from   dust   then  behold!   You   (are) human beings  

the heavens   and the earth   by His Command.   Then  when   He calls you   (with) a call,  

(is) the One Who   originates   the creation   then  repeats it,   and it   (is) easier  

their Lord   turning   to Him.   Then  when   He causes them to taste   from Him  

Allah   (is) the One Who   created you,   then  He provided (for) you,   then   He will cause you to die  

created you,   then   He provided (for) you,   then  He will cause you to die   then   He will give you life.  

He provided (for) you,   then   He will cause you to die   then  He will give you life.   Is (there)   any  

created you   from   weakness,   then  made   after   after  

after   weakness   strength,   then  made   after   after  

(of him) who   turns   to Me.   Then  towards Me   (is) your return,   then I will inform you  

We grant them enjoyment   (for) a little,   then  We will force them   to   a punishment  

in   six   periods.   Then  established Himself   on   the Throne.  

the heaven   to   the earth;   then  it will ascend   to Him   in  

Then  He made   his progeny   from  

Then  He fashioned him   and breathed   into him  

the one who   has been put in charge   of you.   Then  to   your Lord   you will be returned."  

is reminded   of (the) Verses   (of) his Lord,   then  he turns away   from them?   Indeed, We  

upon them   from   all its sides   then  they had been asked   the treachery,   they (would) have certainly done it  

When   you marry   believing women   and then,  divorce them   before   before  

the city,   We will let you overpower them,   We will let you overpower them,   then  not   they will remain your neighbors   therein  

"Will gather   us together   our Lord,   then  He will judge   between us   in truth.  

And (the) Day   He will gather them   all,   then  He will say   to the Angels,   "Were these you  

for Allah   (in) pairs   and (as) individuals,   then  reflect."   Not   (is in) your companion  

created you   from   dust,   then  from   a semen-drop;   then  

then   from   a semen-drop;   then  He made you   pairs.   And not  

Then  I seized   those who   disbelieved,  

Then  We caused to inherit   the Book   those whom  

Then  indeed,   for them   in it  

Then  indeed,   their return   (will) surely be to  

Then  We drowned   the others.  

Then  We destroyed   the others.  

on   his throne   a body;   then  he turned.  

from   a soul   single.   Then  He made   from it   its mate.  

bearer of burdens   (the) burden   (of) another.   Then  to   your Lord   (is) your return,  

his Lord   turning   to Him;   then  when   He bestows on him   a favor  

(as) springs   in   the earth;   then  He produces   with it   crops  

crops   (of) different   colors;   then  they wither   and you see it   turn yellow;  

they wither   and you see it   turn yellow;   then  He makes them   debris?   Indeed,  

(of) those who   fear   their Lord,   then  relax   their skins   and their hearts  

Then  indeed you,   (on the) Day   (of) the Resurrection,  

(is the) dominion   (of) the heavens   and the earth.   Then  to Him   you will be returned."  

[the] man   adversity,   he calls upon Us;   then  when   We bestow (on) him   a favor  

[that]   comes to you   the punishment;   then  not   you will be helped.  

whom   Allah wills.   Allah wills.   Then  (it will) be blown   [in it]   a second time,  

created you   from   dust,   then  from   a semen-drop,   then  

then   from   a semen-drop,   then  from   a clinging substance,   then  

then   from   a clinging substance,   then  He brings you out   (as) a child;   then  

then   He brings you out   (as) a child;   then  lets you reach   your maturity,   then  

then   lets you reach   your maturity,   then  lets you become   old -   and among you  

In   the boiling water;   then  in   the Fire   they will be burned.  

Then  it will be said   to them,   "Where  

Then  He directed (Himself)   towards   the heaven  

say,   "Our Lord,   (is) Allah,"   then  stand firm -   will descend   on them  

from   from   Allah   then  you disbelieve   in it,   who  

That you may sit firmly,   on   their backs,   then  remember   (the) favor   (of) your Lord  

Then  they turned away   from him   and said,  

Then  pour   over   his head  

(of) Allah   recited   to him,   then  persists   arrogantly   as if  

and whoever   does evil,   then it (is) against it.   Then  to   your Lord   you will be returned.  

Then  We put you   on   an ordained way  

Say,   "Allah   gives you life,   then  causes you to die;   then   He will gather you  

gives you life,   then   causes you to die;   then  He will gather you   to   (the) Day  

say,   "Our Lord   (is) Allah,"   then  remain firm,   then no   fear  

from   (the) way   (of) Allah,   then  died   while they   (were) disbelievers,  

He will replace you   (with) a people   other than you,   then  not   they will be   (the) likes of you.  

disbelieve,   surely they would turn   the backs.   Then  not   they would find   any protector  

believe   in Allah   and His Messenger,   then  (do) not   doubt   but strive  

Then  he approached   and came down,  

Then  he will be recompensed for it   the recompense   the fullest.  

"Then  indeed you,   O those astray!   O those astray!  

in   six   periods,   then  He rose   over   the Throne.  

pleases   the tillers   its growth;   then  it dries   and you see it   turning yellow;  

it dries   and you see it   turning yellow;   then  becomes   debris.   And in  

Then  We sent   on   their footsteps  

pronounce zihar   [from]   (to) their wives   then  go back   on what   they said,  

wherever   wherever   they are.   Then  He will inform them   of what   they did  

were forbidden   from   secret counsels,   then  they return   to what   they were forbidden  

they help them,   certainly they will turn   (their) backs;   then  not   they will be helped.  

(of) those who   were entrusted   (with) the Taurat   then  not   they bore it,   (is) like  

from it,   then surely it   (will) meet you.   Then  you will be sent back   to   (the) All-Knower  

That   (is) because   they believed,   then  they disbelieved;   so were sealed   [upon]  

"Yes,   by my Lord,   surely you will be raised;   then  surely you will be informed   of what   you did.  

Then  return   the vision   twice (again).  

Then  (into) the Hellfire   burn him.  

Then  into   a chain,   its length  

Then  certainly We (would) have cut off   from him   the aorta.  

(is) on   the earth   all,   then  it (could) save him.  

Then  indeed, I   invited them   publicly.  

Then  indeed, I   announced   to them  

Then  He will return you   into it   and bring you forth,  

Then  he desires   that   I (should) add more.  

Then  may he be destroyed,   how   he plotted!  

Then  he looked;  

Then  he frowned   and scowled;  

Then  he turned back   and was proud,  

Then  indeed,   upon Us   (is) its explanation.  

Then  he went   to   his family,  

Then  woe   to you,   and woe!  

Then  he was   a clinging substance,   then He created  

Then  We follow them up   (with) the later ones.  

Then  Nay!   (soon) they will know.  

Then  he turned his back,   striving,  

Then  the way,   He made easy for him,  

Then  He causes him to die   and provides a grave for him,  

Then  when   He wills,   He will resurrect him.  

Then  We cleaved   the earth   splitting,  

Then,  what   can make you know   what  

Then  indeed, they   (surely) will burn   (in) the Hellfire.  

Then  it will be said,   "This   (is) what  

persecuted   the believing men   and the believing women,   then  not   they repented,   then for them  

Then  not   he will die   therein  

Then  indeed,   upon Us   (is) their account.  

Then  he is   of   those who  

Then  We returned him   (to the) lowest   (of the) low,  

Then,  nay!   Soon   you will know.  

Then  surely you will see it   (with the) eye   (of) certainty.  

Then,  surely you will be asked   that Day   about  

and the west,   so wherever   you turn   [so] there  (is the) face   (of) Allah.   Indeed,  

And We brought near   there,  the others.  

And when   you look,   then  you will see   blessings   and a kingdom  

One to be obeyed   and  trustworthy,
