The Qur'an

for you   (is) the legal retribution   in   (the matter of) the murdered,  the freeman   for the freeman,   and the slave  

and [the] oppression   (is) worse   than   [the] killing.  And (do) not   fight them   near  

Is prescribed   upon you   [the] fighting  while it   (is) hateful   to you.  

about   the month   [the] sacred -   (concerning) fighting  in it.   Say,   "Fighting  

(concerning) fighting   in it.   Say,   "Fighting  therein   (is) a great (sin);   but hindering (people)  

And [the] oppression   (is) greater   than   [the] killing."  And not   they will cease   (to) fight with you  

if   prescribed   upon you   [the] fighting,  that not   you fight?"   They said,  

Yet, when   was prescribed   upon them   the fighting  they turned away,   except   a few  

to post   the believers   (to take) positions   for the battle.  And Allah   (is) All-Hearing,   All-Knowing.  

those who -   was decreed   upon them   [the] death  towards   their places of death.   And that might test  

They said,   "If   we knew   fighting  certainly we (would have) followed you."   They -   to disbelief  

We will record   what   they said   and their killing  the Prophets   without   (any) right,  

Then when   was ordained   on them   the fighting,  then   a group   of them  

why   have You ordained   upon us   [the] fighting?  Why not   You postpone (it for) us   to  

and their disbelief   in (the) Signs   (of) Allah   and their killing  (of) the Prophets   without   any right  

Then prompted   to him   his soul   (to) kill  his brother,   so he killed him   and became  

to many   of   the polytheists -   (the) killing  (of) their children -   their partners -   so that they may ruin them  

his back   except   (as) a strategy   of war  or   (to) join   to  

Urge   the believers   to   [the] fight.  If   (there) are   among you  

(We) provide for them   and for you.   Indeed,   their killing  is   a sin   great.  

but not   he should exceed   in   the killing.  Indeed, he   is   helped.  

from   death   or   killing,  and then   not   you will be allowed to enjoy  

And sufficient is   Allah   (for) the believers   (in) the battle,  and Allah is   and Allah is   All-Strong,  

precise   and is mentioned   in it   the fighting,  you see   those who,   in  

they are found,   they are seized   and massacred completely.   and massacred completely. 

So turn in repentance   to   your Creator,   and kill  yourselves.   That   (is) better  

disbelieve   in (the) Signs   (of) Allah   and kill  the Prophets   without (any)   [the] right.  

And when   you killed  a man,   then you disputed   concerning it,  

Then   you   (are) those   (who) kill  yourselves   and evict   a party  

So a party   you denied,   and a party   you kill(ed). 

(is) with them.   Say,   "Then why   (did) you kill  (the) Prophets   (of) Allah   from  

And (do) not   say   for (the ones) who   are slain  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

And kill them  wherever   you find them,   and drive them out  

in it.   Then if   they fight you,   then kill them.  Such   (is the) reward   (of) the disbelievers.  

So they defeated them   by (the) permission   (of) Allah,   and killed  Dawood   Jalut,   and gave him  

disbelieve   in (the) Signs (of)   Allah   and they kill  the Prophets   without   right  

the Prophets   without   right   and they kill  those who   order   [with] justice  

disbelieve   in (the) Verses   (of) Allah   and they killed  the Prophets   without   right.  

So if   he died   or   is slain  will you turn back   on   your heels?  

the matter   anything   not   we would have been killed  here."   Say,   "If  

not   they (would have) died   and not   they (would have) been killed."  So makes   Allah   that  

And if   you are killed  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

And if   you die   or   are killed,  surely to   Allah   you will be gathered.  

"If   they (had) obeyed us   not   they would have been killed."  Say,   "Then avert   from  

And (do) not   think   (of) those who   are killed  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

and with what   you speak.   So why   you killed them,  if   you are   truthful.  

in   My way   and fought   and were killed -  surely I (will) remove   from them   their evil deeds  

mutual consent   among you.   And (do) not   kill  yourselves.   Indeed,   Allah  

(had) decreed   on them   that,   "Kill  yourselves"   or   "Go forth  

in   (the) way   (of) Allah,   then he is killed  or   achieves victory   then soon  

But if   they turn back,   seize them   and kill them  wherever   you find them.   And (do) not  

and they restrain   their hands,   then seize them   and kill them  wherever   you find them.   And those -  

is   for a believer   that   he kills  a believer   except   (by) mistake.  

except   (by) mistake.   And whoever   killed  a believer   (by) mistake,   then freeing  

And whoever   kills  a believer   intentionally   then his recompense  

And for their saying,   "Indeed, we   killed  the Messiah,   Isa,   son  

(the) Messenger   (of) Allah."   And not   they killed him  and not   they crucified him   but  

(the) following   (of) assumption.   And not   they killed him,  certainly.  

from   the other.   Said (the latter),   "Surely I will kill you."  Said (the former),   "Only   accepts  

you stretch   towards me   your hand   to kill me,  not   will I   stretch  

stretch   my hand   towards you   to kill you,  indeed I   fear   Allah  

his soul   (to) kill   his brother,   so he killed him  and became   of   the losers.  

(of) Israel   that he   who   kills  a soul   other than   (for) a soul  

in   the earth   then (it) is as if   he has killed  mankind,   all,   and whoever  

a group   they denied   and a group   they kill. 

who   believe!   (Do) not   kill  the game   while you   (are in) Ihram.  

while you   (are in) Ihram.   And whoever   killed it  among you   intentionally,   then penalty  

then penalty   (is) similar   (to) what   he killed  of   the cattle,   judging  

Certainly,   (are) lost   those who   killed  their children   (in) foolishness   without  

and with the parents   (be) good,   and (do) not   kill  your children   (out) of   poverty,  

and what   (is) concealed.   And (do) not   kill  the soul   which   has (been) forbidden  

the people   considered me weak   and were about to   kill me.  So (let) not   rejoice   over me  

And not   you kill them,  but   Allah   killed them.  

you kill them,   but   Allah   killed them.  And not   you threw   when  

disbelieved   that they restrain you   or   kill you  or   drive you out.   And they were planning  

have passed   the sacred months,   the sacred months,   then kill  the polytheists   wherever   you find them  

in   (the) way   (of) Allah,   they slay  and they are slain.   A promise   upon Him  

(the) way   (of) Allah,   they slay   and they are slain.  A promise   upon Him   true,  

Kill  Yusuf   or   cast him  

a speaker   among them,   "(Do) not   kill  Yusuf   but throw him   in  

And (do) not   kill  your children   (for) fear   (of) poverty.  

And (do) not   kill  the soul   which   Allah has forbidden,  

except   by right.   And whoever   (is) killed  wrongfully,   verily   We have made  

when   they met   a boy,   then he killed him.  He said,   "Have you killed   a soul,  

a boy,   then he killed him.   He said,   "Have you killed  a soul,   pure,   for other than  

her eyes   and not   she grieves.   And you killed  a man,   but We saved you   from  

(the) way   (of) Allah   then   were killed  or   died,   surely, Allah will provide them  

god   another,   and (do) not   [they] kill  the soul   which   Allah has forbidden  

a crime,   so I fear   that   they will kill me." 

for me   and for you;   (Do) not   kill him;  perhaps   (that)   he may benefit us,  

"O Musa!   Do you intend   to   kill me  as   you killed   a person  

to   kill me   as   you killed  a person   yesterday?   Not  

the chiefs   are taking counsel   about you   to kill you,  so leave;   indeed, I am   to you  

He said,   "My Lord!   Indeed,   I killed  of them   a man,   and I fear  

a man,   and I fear   that   they will kill me. 

except   that   they said,   "Kill him  or   burn him."   But Allah saved him  

their hearts   [the] terror,   a group   you killed  and you took captive   a group.  

from   Us   they said,   "Kill  (the) sons   (of) those who   believe  

And said   Firaun,   "Leave me   (so that) I kill  Musa   and let him call   his Lord.  

(of) Firaun   who conceal(ed)   his faith,   "Will you kill  a man   because   he says,  

some of you   with others.   And those who   are killed  in   (the) way of Allah,   (the) way of Allah,  

Cursed be  the liars,  

and not   they will commit adultery,   and not   they will kill  their children,   and not   they bring  

So may he be destroyed,  how   he plotted!  

Then   may he be destroyed,  how   he plotted!  

Is destroyed  [the] man,   how   ungrateful is he!  

For what   sin   she was killed. 

Destroyed were  (the) companions   (of) the pit,  

the earth   spreading corruption   (is) that   they be killed  or   they be crucified   or  

and forsake you   and your gods?"   He said,   "We will kill  their sons   and we will let live   their women,  

who were afflicting you   (with) worst   (of) torment,   they were killing  your sons   and letting live   your women.  

wherever   they are found,   they are seized   and massacred completely.  and massacred completely.  

And fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

(the) way   (of) Allah   those who   fight you  and (do) not   transgress.   Indeed,  

than   [the] killing.   And (do) not   fight them  near   Al-Masjid   Al-Haraam  

Al-Masjid   Al-Haraam   until   they fight you  in it.   Then if   they fight you,  

they fight you   in it.   Then if   they fight you,  then kill them.   Such   (is the) reward  

And fight (against) them  until   not   (there) is  

[the] killing."   And not   they will cease   (to) fight with you  until   they turn you away   from  

And fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah,  

"Appoint   for us   a king,   we may fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah?"  

upon you   [the] fighting,   that not   you fight?"  They said,   "And what   for us  

"And what   for us   that not   we fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

(the) two hosts   which met -   one group   fighting  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

except   a hurt.   And if   they fight you,  they will turn (towards) you   the backs,   then  

And how many   from   a Prophet   fought;  with him   (were) religious scholars   many.  

And it was said   to them,   "Come,   fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

and were harmed   in   My way   and fought  and were killed -   surely I (will) remove   from them  

So let fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah  

(of) the world   for the Hereafter.   And whoever   fights  in   (the) way   (of) Allah,  

And what   for you   (that) not   you fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah,  

Those who   believe,   they fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah;  

(of) Allah;   and those   who disbelieve,   they fight  in   (the) way   (of) the false deities.  

in   (the) way   (of) the false deities.   So fight (against)  (the) friends   (of) the Shaitaan.   Indeed,  

So fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah;  

restraining   their hearts   that   they fight you  or   they fight   their people.  

that   they fight you   or   they fight  their people.   And if   (had) willed  

Allah,   surely He (would have) given them power   over you,   and surely they (would have) fought you.  So if   they withdraw from you   and (do) not  

So if   they withdraw from you   and (do) not   fight against you  and offer   to you   [the] peace  

So go   you   and your Lord   and you both fight.  Indeed, we   are [here]   sitting."  

And fight them  until   not   there is  

and defame   [in]   your religion,   then fight  the leaders   (of) [the] disbelief,   indeed, they -  

Will not   you fight  a people   who broke   their oaths  

Fight them -  Allah will punish them   Allah will punish them   by your hands  

Fight  those who   (do) not   believe  

disbelieved   before.   before.   (May) Allah destroy them.  (May) Allah destroy them.   How   deluded are they!  

wrong   therein   yourselves.   And fight  the polytheists   all together,   as  

the polytheists   all together,   as   they fight you  all together.   And know   that  

with me   ever   and never   will you fight  with me   any enemy.   Indeed, you  

because   for them   (is) Paradise.   They fight  in   (the) way   (of) Allah,  

O you who believe!   O you who believe!   O you who believe!   Fight  those who   (are) close to you   of  

Permission is given   to those who   are being fought  because they   were wronged.   And indeed,  

they were   among you   not   they would fight  except   a little.  

possessors of military might   possessors of military might   great;   you will fight them,  or   they will submit.   Then if  

And if,   fight you,  those who   disbelieve,   surely they would turn  

one of them   on   the other,   then fight  one which   oppresses   until  

before   before   the victory   and fought.  Those   (are) greater   (in) degree  

spent   afterwards   afterwards   and fought.  But to all,   Allah has promised   Allah has promised  

anyone,   ever;   and if   you are fought,  certainly we will help you."   And Allah   bears witness  

they will leave   with them,   and if   they are fought  not   they will help them.   And if  

Not   will they fight you  all   except   in  

from   those who   (do) not   fight you  in   the religion   and (do) not  

Allah   from   those who   fight you  in   the religion   and drive you out  

Allah   loves   those who   fight  in   His Way   (in) a row  

They   (are) the enemy,   so beware of them.   May destroy them  Allah!   How   are they deluded?  

(the) Bounty   (of) Allah,   and others   fighting  in   (the) way   (of) Allah.  

(had) willed   Allah   not   (would have) fought each other  those who   (came) from   after them,  

(had) willed   Allah   not   they (would have) fought each other,  [and] but   Allah   does  

and found   therein   two men   fighting each other;  this   of   his party  

two parties   among   the believers   fight,  then make peace   between both of them.   But if
