Indeed, you   were satisfied   with sitting   (the) first  time,   so sit   with  

And the forerunners,   the first  among   the emigrants   and the helpers  

has your Lord sent down?   They say,   "Tales   (of) the ancient." 

fear.   We will return it   (to) its state   the former. 

"Then what   (is the) case   (of) the generations   (of) the former." 

(of) what   (was) in   the Scriptures   the former? 

of this   from   our forefathers.   our forefathers. 

not   (had) come   (to) their forefathers?   (to) their forefathers? 

(is) this   but   (the) tales   (of) the former (people)." 

"Your Lord   and (the) Lord   (of) your forefathers."   (of) your forefathers." 

the One Who   created you   and the generations   the former." 

of this   among   our forefathers."   our forefathers." 

Or our fathers   former?" 

went astray   before them   most   (of) the former (people), 

your Lord   and (the) Lord   (of) your forefathers?"   (of) your forefathers?" 

your Lord   and (the) Lord   (of) your fathers   the former. 

Were We then tired   with the creation   the first?  Nay,   they   (are) in  

And also our fathers   former? 

this   surely (is) in   the Scriptures   [the] former, 

(is) with you,   and (do) not   be   (the) first  disbeliever   of it.   And (do) not  

And when   We saved you   from   (the) people  (of) Firaun   (who were) afflicting you (with)   horrible  

the sea,   then We saved you,   and We drowned   (the) people  (of) Firaun   while you   (were) looking.  

in   the legal retribution   (is) life,   O men  (of) understanding!   So that you may   (become) righteous.  

provision   (is) righteousness.   And fear Me,   O men  (of) understanding!  

and a remnant   of what   (was) left   (by the) family  (of) Musa   and family   (of) Harun  

(was) left   (by the) family   (of) Musa   and family  (of) Harun   will carry it   the Angels.  

And none   remembers   except   those  (of) understanding.  

And not   will take heed   except   men  (of) understanding.  

Like behavior   (of the) people  (of) Firaun   and those who   (were) from  

in   that   surely (is) a lesson   for the owners  (of) vision.  

except   Him,   and (so do) the Angels,   and owners  (of) [the] knowledge -   standing   in justice.  

chose   Adam   and Nuh,   and (the) family  (of) Ibrahim   and (the) family   (of) Imran  

and Nuh,   and (the) family   (of) Ibrahim   and (the) family  (of) Imran   over   the worlds.  

Indeed,   (the) First  House   set up   for the mankind  

(of) the night   and the day   (are) surely Signs   for men  (of) understanding.  

And when   present   (at) the (time of) division   (of)  the relatives   and the orphans   and the poor,  

His Bounty?   But surely   We gave   (the) family  (of) Ibrahim   the Book   and [the] wisdom  

Allah   and obey   the Messenger   and those  (having) authority   among you.   Then if  

to   the Messenger   and to   those  (having) authority   among them,   surely would have known it  

among   the believers,   other than   the ones (who are)  [the] disabled,   and the ones who strive   in  

(of) the evil.   So fear   Allah,   O men  (of) understanding,   so that you may   (be) successful."  

to be   for us   a festival   for first of us  and last of us   and a sign   from You.  

[I] am commanded   that   I be   (the) first  who   submits (to Allah)   and not  

(is) this   but   (the) tales   (of) the former (people)." 

and with that   I have been commanded.   And I am   (the) first  (of) the ones who surrender (to Him).  

all,   (will) say   (the) last of them   about the first of them,  "Our Lord,   these   misled us  

And (will) say   (the) first of them  to (the) last of them,   "Then not   is  

And certainly,   We seized   (the) people  (of) Firaun   with years (of famine)   and a deficit  

And when   We saved you   from   (the) people  (of) Firaun   who were afflicting you   (with) worst  

I turn (in repentance)   to you,   and I am   (the) first  (of) the believers."  

is this   but   tales   (of) the former (people)." 

then verily   preceded   (the) practice   (of) the former (people). 

Like (the) way   (of) people  (of) Firaun   and those who   (were) from  

Like (the) way   (of) people  (of) Firaun   and those who   (were) from  

so We destroyed them   for their sins   and We drowned   (the) people  (of) Firaun   and (they) all   were  

with you,   then those   (are) of you.   But those  (of) blood relationship,   some of them   (are) nearer  

the Messenger   and they   began (to attack) you   first  time?   Do you fear them?   But Allah  

with   His Messenger,   ask your permission   (the) men  (of) wealth   among them   and said,  

on   the righteousness   from   (the) first  day   (is) more worthy   that  

for the polytheists,   even though   they be   near of kin,  near of kin,   after   after  

the generations   before you   before you   those possessing a remnant,  those possessing a remnant,   forbidding   from  

His Favor   on you   and on   (the) family  (of) Yaqub   as   He completed it  

in   their stories   a lesson   for men  (of) understanding.   Not   (it) is  

(is) blind?   Only   pay heed   men  (of) understanding.  

when   He saved you   from   (the) people  (of) Firaun,   they were afflicting you   (with) evil  

(is) One God,   (is) One God,   and that may take heed   men  (of) understanding.  

before you   in   the sects   (of) the former (people). 

and verily   have passed   the way(s)   (of) the former (people). 

Except   the family  of Lut;   indeed, we   surely will save them  

And when   came   (to the) family  (of) Lut   the messengers,  

So when   came   (the) promise   (for) the first of the two,  We raised   against you   servants  

against you   servants   of Ours   those of great military might  those of great military might   those of great military might   and they entered  

the Masjid   just as   they (had) entered it   first  time,   and to destroy   what  

Say,   "He Who   created you   (the) first  time."   Then they will shake   at you  

that   denied   them   the former (people)  And We gave   Thamud   the she-camel  

you have come to Us   as   We created you   the first  time.   Nay,   you claimed  

that   comes to them   (the) way   (of) the former (people)  or   comes to them   the punishment  

Who will inherit me   and inherit   from   (the) family  (of) Yaqub.   And make him   my Lord,  

in   that,   surely (are) Signs   for possessors  (of) intelligence.  

or   [that]   we will be   the first  who   throws?"  

in   that   surely (are) Signs   for possessors  (of) intelligence.  

a sign   like what   was sent   (to) the former." 

for records.   As   We began   (the) first  creation   We will repeat it,   a promise  

(the) like   (of) what   said   the former (people). 

And not   let swear   those of virtue  those of virtue   among you   and the amplitude of means  

and the amplitude of means   that   they give   (to) the near of kin,  (to) the near of kin,   and the needy   and the emigrants  

or   the attendants   having no physical desire   having no physical desire  having no physical desire   among   [the] men  

in   that   surely is a lesson   for those who have vision.  for those who have vision.  

And they say,   "Tales   (of) the former people  which he has had written   and they   are dictated  

our sins,   because   we are   (the) first  (of) the believers."  

(is) this   but   (the) custom   (of) the former (people), 

And indeed, it   surely, (is) in   (the) Scriptures   (of) the former (people). 

They said,   "We   (are) possessors  (of) strength   and possessors   (of) might  

"We   (are) possessors   (of) strength   and possessors  (of) might   great,   and the command  

that   they said,   "Drive out   (the) family  (of) Lut   from   your town.  

(is) this   except   tales   (of) the former (people)." 

Then picked him up   (the) family  (of) Firaun   so that he might become   to them  

after [what]   We had destroyed   the generations   former  (as) an enlightenment   for the mankind   and a guidance  

To Him   (are due) all praises   in   the first  and the last.   And for Him   (is) the Decision,  

(the) keys of it   would burden   a company (of men)   possessors of great strength.  possessors of great strength.   When   said  

their own selves,   and his wives   (are) their mothers.   And possessors  (of) relationships,   some of them   (are) closer  

display yourselves   (as was the) display   (of the times of) ignorance   the former.  And establish   the prayer   and give  

and cooking-pots   fixed.   "Work,   O family  (of) Dawood!   (in) gratitude."   But few  

(Who) makes   the Angels   messengers   having wings  having wings   two   or three  

they wait   except   (the) way   (of) the former (people)?  But never   you will find   in (the) way  

"He will give them life   Who   produced them   (the) first  time;   and He   (is) of every  

Except   our death   the first,  and not   we   will be punished?"  

we had   a reminder   from   the former (people), 

that they may ponder   (over) its Verses   and may be reminded   those of understanding.  those of understanding.  

a Mercy   from Us   and a Reminder   for those of understanding.  for those of understanding.  

Ibrahim   and Isaac   and Ayyub,   possessors  (of) strength   and vision.  

know?"   Only   will take heed   those of understanding.  those of understanding.  

And I am commanded   that   I be   (the) first  (of) those who submit."  

Allah has guided them,   and those   are [they]   the men of understanding.  the men of understanding.  

in   that   surely, (is) a reminder   for those of understanding.  for those of understanding.  

a man,   believing,   from   (the) family  (of) Firaun   who conceal(ed)   his faith,  

that   they plotted,   and enveloped   (the) people  (of) Firaun   (the) worst   punishment,  

(will be) established   the Hour,   "Cause to enter   (the) people  (of) Firaun   (in the) severest   punishment."  

A guide   and a reminder   for those  (of) understanding.  

thing;   and He   created you   (the) first  time,   and to Him   you will be returned."  

of   a Prophet   among   the former (people), 

(in) power   and has passed   (the) example   (of) the former (people). 

the Most Gracious   a son.   Then, I   (would be the) first  (of) the worshippers."  

it   (is) but   our death   the first  and not   we   (will be) raised again.  

the death   except   the death   the first.  And He will protect them   (from the) punishment   (of) the Hellfire,  

(is) this   but   (the) stories   (of) the former (people)." 

So be patient,   as   had patience   those of determination  those of determination   of   the Messengers,  

"You will be called   to   a people,   possessors of military might  possessors of military might   great;   you will fight them,  

But for Allah   (is) the last   and the first. 

And that He   destroyed   Aad   the first, 

(is) a warner,   from   the warners   the former. 

upon them   a storm of stones,   except   (the) family  (of) Lut,   We saved them   by dawn  

And certainly   came   (to the) people  (of) Firaun   warnings.  

A company   of   the former (people), 

A company   of   the former people, 

Say,   "Indeed,   the former  and the later people  

And certainly   you know   the creation   the first,  so why not   you take heed?  

He   (is) the First  and the Last,   and the Apparent   and the Unapparent,  

(of) the Scripture   from   their homes   at (the) first  gathering.   Not   you think  

and the hands   (of) the believers.   So take a lesson,   O those endowed  (with) insight!  

and the ones who   not   [they] menstruated.   And those who (are)  pregnant,   their term   until  

[on] them.   And if   they are   those (who are)  pregnant,   then spend   on them  

severe.   So fear   Allah,   O men  (of) understanding,   those who   have believed!  

Our Verses,   he says,   "Stories   (of) the former (people)." 

And leave Me   and the deniers,   possessors  (of) the ease,   and allow them respite -   a little.  

Did not   We destroy   the former (people)? 

(is the) Day   (of) Judgment;   We have gathered you   and the former (people). 

Allah   (with) an exemplary punishment   (for) the last   and the first. 

Our Verses,   he says,   "Stories   (of) the former (people)." 

And indeed,   for Us   (is) the Hereafter   and the first (life). 

(is) better   for you   than   the first. 

seeking   [the] discord   and seeking   its interpretation.  And not   knows   its interpretation  

its interpretation.   And not   knows   its interpretation  except   Allah.   And those firm  

That   (is) best   and more suitable   (for final) determination. 

Do   they wait   except   (for) its fulfillment  (The) Day   (will) come   its fulfillment,  

(for) its fulfillment   (The) Day   (will) come   its fulfillment,  will say   those who   had forgotten it  

(of) its knowledge   and not   has come (to) them   its interpretation.  Thus   denied   those  

your Lord   and will teach you   of   (the) interpretation  (of) the narratives   and complete   His Favor  

the land   that We might teach him   (the) interpretation of   (the) interpretation of  the events.   And Allah   (is) Predominant  

the birds   from it.   Inform us   of its interpretation;  indeed, we   [we] see you   of  

you are provided with   but   I will inform both of you   of its interpretation,  before   [that]   [it] comes to both of you.  

dreams,   and not   we   (are) in the interpretation  (of) the dreams   learned."  

a period,   "I   [I] will inform you   of its interpretation  so send me forth.  

And he said,   "O my father!   This   (is the) interpretation  (of) my dream,   (of) before.   (of) before.  

the sovereignty   and taught me   of   the interpretation  of the events.   Creator   (of) the heavens  

That   (is) good   and best   (in) result. 

between me   and between you.   I will inform you   of (the) interpretation  (of) what   not   you were able  

on   my (own) accord.   That   (is the) interpretation  (of) what   not   you were able  

alone   as   We created you   (the) first  time,   and you have left   whatever  

not   they believe   in it   (the) first  time.   And We will leave them   in
