The Qur'an

We appointed   (for) Musa   forty   nights.  Then   you took   the calf  

(of) the heavens   and the earth,   and alternation   of the night  and the day,   and the ships   which  

complete   the fast   till   the night.  And (do) not   have relations with them   while you  

Those who   spend   their wealth   by night  and day   secretly   and openly,  

You cause to enter   the night  in   the day   and You cause to enter  

and You cause to enter   the day   in   the night,  and You bring forth   the living   from  

(the) Verses   (of) Allah   (in the) hours   (of) the night  and they   prostrate.  

(of) the heavens   and the earth   and (in the) alternation   (of) the night  and the day   (are) surely Signs   for men  

(is) whatever   dwells   in   the night  and the day,   and He   (is) All-Hearing,  

And He   (is) the One Who   takes your (soul)   by the night  and He knows   what   you committed  

So when   covered   over him   the night,  he saw   a star.   He said,  

(He is the) Cleaver   (of) the daybreak   and He has made   the night  (for) rest   and the sun   and the moon  

on   the Throne.   He covers   the night  (with) the day   seeking it   rapidly  

And We appointed   (for) Musa   thirty   nights  and We completed them   with ten (more),   so was completed  

(the) set term   (of) his Lord   (of) forty   night(s).  And said   Musa   to his brother  

Indeed,   in   (the) alternation   (of) the night  and the day   and what   (has been) created  

over it,   comes (to) it   Our command   (by) night  or   (by) day,   and We make it  

their faces   (with) pieces   from   the darkness (of) night.  the darkness (of) night.   Those   (are the) companions  

(is) the One Who   made   for you   the night  that you may rest   in it   and the day  

with your family   in a part   of   the night  and (let) not   look back   anyone of you,  

(of) the day   and (at) the approach   of   the night.  Indeed,   the good deeds   remove  

pairs   two.   He covers   the night  (with) the day.   Indeed,   in  

and (one) who   [he]   (is) hidden   by night  or goes freely   by day.  

both constantly pursuing their courses,   and subjected   for you   the night  and the day.  

with your family   in a portion   of   the night  and follow   their backs,   and not  

And He has subjected   for you   the night  and the day,   and the sun   and the moon,  

(is) the One Who   took   His servant   (by) night  from   Al-Masjid Al-Haraam,   Al-Masjid Al-Haraam,  

And We have made   the night  and the day   (as) two signs.   Then We erased  

(as) two signs.   Then We erased   (the) sign   (of) the night,  and We made   (the) sign   (of) the day  

(of) the sun   till   (the) darkness   (of) the night  and Quran   at dawn,   indeed,  

And from   the night  arise from sleep for prayer   with it   (as) additional  

you will speak   (to) the people,   (for) three   nights  sound."  

its setting;   and from   (the) hours   (of) the night,  and glorify   (at the) ends   (of) the day  

They glorify (Him)   [the] night  and [the] day,   not   they slacken.  

And He   (is) the One Who   created   the night  and the day,   and the sun   and the moon;  

Say,   "Who   (can) protect you   in the night  and the day   from   the Most Gracious?"  

(is) because   Allah   causes to enter   the night  in (to)   the day,   and causes to enter  

and causes to enter   the day   in (to)   the night.  And indeed,   Allah   (is) All-Hearer,  

and causes death   and for Him   (is the) alternation   (of) the night  and the day.   Then will not   you reason?  

Allah alternates   Allah alternates   the night  and the day.   Indeed,   in  

(is) the One Who   made   for you   the night  (as) a covering   and the sleep   a rest  

And He   (is) the One Who   made   the night  and the day   (in) succession   for whoever  

they see   that We   [We] have made   the night  that they may rest   in it,   and the day  

Allah made   Allah made   for you   the night  continuous   till   (the) Day  

besides   Allah   who could bring you   night  (for) you (to) rest   in it?   Then will not  

His Mercy   He made   for you   the night  and the day,   that you may rest   therein  

And among   His Signs   (is) your sleep   by night  and the day   [and] your seeking   of  

that   Allah   causes to enter   the night  into   the day,   and causes to enter  

and causes to enter   the day   into   the night  and has subjected   the sun   and the moon,  

the journey.   "Travel   between them   (by) night  and (by) day   safely."  

were arrogant,   "Nay,   (it was) a plot   (by) night  and (by) day   when   you were ordering us  

He causes to enter   the night  in (to)   the day   and He causes to enter  

and He causes to enter   the day   in (to)   the night,  and He has subjected   the sun   and the moon  

And a Sign   for them   (is) the night.  We withdraw   from it   the day.  

it overtakes   the moon,   and not   the night  (can) outstrip   the day,   but all  

And at night.  Then will not   you use reason?  

and the earth   in [the] truth.   He wraps   the night  over   the day   and wraps  

and wraps   the day   over   the night.  And He subjected   the sun   and the moon,  

[he]   (is) devoutly obedient -   (during) hours   (of) the night,  prostrating   and standing,   fearing  

(is) the One Who   made   for you   the night  that you may rest   in it,   and the day  

And of   His Signs   (are) the night  and the day   and the sun   and the moon.  

your Lord,   glorify   Him   by night  and day.   And they   (do) not  

Indeed, We   revealed it   in   a Night  Blessed.   Indeed, We   [We] are  

Then "Set out   with My slaves   (by) night.  Indeed, you   (will be) followed.  

And (in the) alternation   (of) the night  and the day   and what   Allah sends down  

And of   the night  glorify Him   and after   the prostration.  

They used to   little   of   the night  [what]   sleep.  

And of   the night,  glorify Him,   and after   the stars.  

He merges   the night  into   the day   and He merges  

and He merges   the day   into   the night,  and He   (is) All-Knower   of what is in the breasts.  

Which He imposed   upon them   (for) seven   nights  and eight   days   (in) succession,  

Stand   (in) the night,  except   a little,  

Indeed,   (the) rising   (at) the night,  it   (is) very hard   and most potent  

(a little) less   than   two-thirds   (of) the night,  and half of it   and a third of it   and (so do) a group  

(are) with you.   And Allah   determines   the night  and the day.   He knows   that  

And the night  when   it departs,  

And of   the night  prostrate   to Him,   and glorify Him  

And We made   the night  (as) covering,  

And He darkened   its night  and brought out   its brightness.  

And the night  when   it departs,  

And the night  and what   it envelops,  

And the nights  ten.  

And the night  when   it passes.  

And the night  when   it covers it,  

By the night  when   it covers,  

And the night  when   it covers with darkness,  

Indeed, We   revealed it   in   (the) Night  (of) Power.  

And what   can make you know   what   (the) Night  (of) Power (is)?  

(The) Night  (of) Power   (is) better   than  

Permitted   for you   (in the) nights  (of) fasting   (is) the approach   to  

Indeed, I   invited   my people   night  and day.  

prostrate   to Him,   and glorify Him   a night  long.
