The Qur'an

And We sent   on   their footsteps  Isa,   son   (of) Maryam,  

the one who kills   yourself   over   their footsteps,  if   not   they believe  

seeking."   So they returned   on   their footprints,  retracing.  

"They   (are) close   upon   my tracks,  and I hastened   to you   my Lord,  

so I took   a handful   from   (the) track  (of) the Messenger   then threw it,   and thus  

So look   at   (the) effects  (of the) Mercy   (of) Allah,   how  

and We record   what   they have sent before   and their footprints,  and every   thing   We have enumerated it  

So they   on   their footsteps  they hastened.  

superior   to them   (in) strength   and (in) impressions  in   the land,   but Allah seized them  

than them   and mightier   (in) strength   and impressions  in   the land,   but not  

a religion   and indeed, we   on   their footsteps  (are) guided."  

a religion,   and indeed, we   [on]   their footsteps  (are) following."  

before   this   or   a trace  of   knowledge,   if  

(is) on   their faces   from   (the) trace  (of) the prostration.   That   (is) their similitude  

Then   We sent   on   their footsteps  Our Messengers   and We followed   with Isa,  

(is) this   but   magic   imitated. 

They said,   "By Allah,   certainly   Allah has preferred you  Allah has preferred you   over us   and indeed,  

They said,   "Never   we will prefer you  over   what   has come to us  

any want   of what   they were given   but prefer  over   themselves,   even though  

And preferred  the life   (of) the world,  

Nay!   You prefer  the life   (of) the world,
