Narrated Anas:
From Abu Talhah that he said: "O Prophet of Allah! I had purchased some wine for the orphans under my care. He said: 'Spill out the wine, and break the jugs.'" [He said:] There are narrations on this topic from Jabir, 'Aishah, Abu Sa'eed, Ibn Mas'ud, Ibn 'Umar, and Anas. [Abu 'Eisa said:] The Hadith of Abu Talhah, Ath-Thawri reported this Hadith from As-Suddi, from Yahya bin 'Abbad, from Anas: "That Abu Talhah was with him" and this is more correct than the narration of Al-laith (no. 1293).
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ لَيْثًا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنِّي اشْتَرَيْتُ خَمْرًا لأَيْتَامٍ فِي حِجْرِي . قَالَ
" أَهْرِقِ الْخَمْرَ وَاكْسِرِ الدِّنَانَ "
. قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَعَائِشَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ رَوَى الثَّوْرِيُّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ . وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ .
