كَسَفَ(n. ac. كَسْف) a. Cut, cut up. b.(n. ac. كُسُوْف), Darkened, eclipsed ( the sun: God ). c. Was darkened, eclipsed. d. Frowned; grew dark (face). كَسَّفَa. Cut up into pieces. إِنْكَسَفَ a. [ coll. ] see I (c) كِسْفَة (pl. كِسْف كِسَف كُسُوْف أَكْسَاْف) a. Piece, fragment. كَاْسِفa. Darkened, eclipsed. b. Fatal, disastrous (day). كَاْسِفَةa. fem. of كَاْسِف كُسُوْفa. Eclipse. N.
