فَاضَ (ي)(n. ac. فَيْض فُيُوْض فُيُوْضَة فَيَضَاْن فَيْضُوْضَة ) a. Overflowed, poured forth; was abundant; flowed streamed; spread (news). b. [Bi], Disclosed, revealed (secret). c.(n. ac. فَيْض فُيُوْض), Departed [ soul ); died. d. [Min], Went out, advanced, pushed on from. أَفْيَضَa. Poured out. b. Filled to the brim. c. Pushed, pressed on. d. Chewed the cud, ruminated. e. [Fī], Engaged in, busied himself with; was profuse prolix in (speech). f. Clothed in a coat of mail. g. see I (a) (d). تَفَيَّضَa.
