شَدَّ(n. ac. شَدّ) a. Tied tightly, fastened securely, made firm; saddled; braced, strengthened ( resolution & c.). b. Ran, hastened; wore on, was far advanced ( day ). c.(n. ac. شَدّ شُدُوْد), ['Ala], Attacked, made a raid upon. d.
