خَمَدَ خَمِدَ(n. ac. خَمْد خُمُوْد) a. Died down (fire). b. Subsided, became allayed ( fever, anger ). c. Swooned, fainted. أَخْمَدَa. Extinguished. b. Caused to die, took away ( his breath: God). c. Was, became still, calm, silent. خَاْمِدa. Dying down (fire). b. Still, calm, silent. خَمُّوْدa. Place in which fire is buried.
