عَتَبَ(n. ac. عَتْب مَعْتَب مَعْتَبَة عُتْبَاْن) a. ['Ala], Was angry, vexed, put out with. b.(n. ac. عَتْب مَعْتَب عِتِّيْبَى عِتْبَاْن), Blamed, chid, reprimanded. c.(n. ac. عَتْب عَتَبَاْن تَعْتَاْب), Limped, hobbled; hopped. عَتَّبَa. Made a threshold to (door). b. Tightened the belt of ( the trousers ). عَاْتَبَ a. [acc. & 'Ala], Chid, expostulated with,rebuked for. أَعْتَبَa. Contented, pleased. b.
